NCQA Multicultural Health Care Standards

The National Committee for Quality Assurance, which accredits and certifies a wide range of health care organizations, will release its long-awaited Multicultural Health Care Standards on March 29, 2010. The standards pertain to:

Data collection of race/ethnicity and language

Language services such as translation of written documents and oral interpretation
Practitioner network cultural responsiveness

Accountability and quality improvement, including using data to improve culturally and linguistically appropriate services (CLAS)

This Webinar will will go over what health care organizations are already doing, and what changes will be needed to meet the standards today and as they evolve. Presenters include:
